Real Estate Agent
Ron Melvin started in real estate in 1995 as a mortgage loan officer supporting realtors. He’s lived in the East Bay since 1992, and he started selling homes in 2013. Ron focuses on selling real estate in Walnut Creek, Concord, Pleasant Hill and Martinez, and he regularly sells houses throughout the East Bay. Ron specializes in first-time buyer, folks downsizing, growing families upsizing and homes being sold because of legal matters (e.g. foreclosures, short-sales, divorces, probates, trustee sale, deaths).
Ron was a first-time home buyer in 2000 and bought his first home in Concord using a VA Loan Program. He has lived in Concord with his family since then and brings insight to buying real estate in the East Bay that does not show up on a report or website. Ron’s real estate team motto, “Making a difference for you” means that the team goes to bat for you and your needs always come first.
Ron served 7 years on active duty with the US Air Force prior to selling East Bay real estate. He spent 2 years with the US Air Force Presidential Honor Guard in Washington, D.C., and he served for 3 years as a city police officer in California. The rigors and personal commitment of the military and police prepared Ron for the commitment of helping families and individuals buy and sell houses in the East Bay.
Ron spends most of his time away from being a realtor with his family. He has coached kids’ baseball, softball and soccer in the East Bay. He and his family are long-term supporters and volunteers with Special Olympics Northern California. Ron is also a member of the Knights of Columbus at Saint Francis of Assisi Church in Concord.
Ron has a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Southern Illinois University and a Master’s in Finance from Golden Gate University.

"Ron Melvin, superstar. We found Ron through a recommendation, which was spot on. We got fabulous, attentive service. Ron is an excellent communicator, knows his stuff and is in tight with the players in the area. Most importantly, he took us through our purchase step by step, so we didn't have to worry about a thing. Finally, here's very organized, thorough and well prepared."
